Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a hot topic in the industry, and the Corps of Engineers is leading the way with its use and its requirements for A/E Partners to deliver projects. This session will discuss the history and need for the contract language, the current state of the language, the different versions of the language (Center of Standardization projects, non-Center of Standardization projects, and “BIM Neutral”), the submittal of a BIM Implementation Plan, clarifications and other Q&A items frequently submitted to the Corps. |
