Beginning Horizontal & Vertical Alignment Design Tawn Nugent, GBA This session will introduce new GEOPAK users to the available tools for storing horizontal and vertical alignments. The basics of COGO and Graphical COGO will be addressed, as well as more advanced tools within the Horizontal Alignment Generator. The two available methods of storing a vertical alignment will be discussed: Vertical Alignment Generator and the Component Based Vertical Alignment tools. An example project will be used showing how to store an alignment based on given information and also how to store an alignment with no given parameters.
